Default How do you move landrover seat with a drill???

Ok, I know I read somewhere online that you can move your seats if the motors aren't working backwards or forward with a drill. My question is how do you do it and where do you insert the drill to adjust the seat? Its my passenger seat on my disco 2 that won't move. Thanks.

You have to remove the seat perhaps to get at the seat motors. Unscrew the cable from the end and chuck up the center of the cable in a drill and turn at slow speed.

Important note - a D1 seat and a D2 seat won't interchange. But a ragged out seat for $25 from the junkyard can have working motors....

Is it the front motor which lays horizontal with the front part of the seat the motor that moves the seat front to back?
