Default how to remove silicone conditioners like armor all from cars interior

I have a 2000 disco II it looks like the person I bought it from used armor all our some other type of silicone based cleaner conditioner on the plastic interior parts and the leather our vinyl seats. not sure if the seats are vinyl our leather. The plastic looks gross like on the console and is a little sticky to the touch. I want to remove all the silicone conditioner he used on the interior. Is there a way to do this on the plastic parts and also the vinyl our leather parts? also the sticky feeling plastic is there a way to remove the stickiness ?

The stuff eventually wears off. I would just wipe well with a Cotton rag and maybe some non silicone based interior trim cleaner. It will be back to normal in a week or so.

don't know if it is recommended, but i wiped one of mine down with goof off. it had that sticky cleaner type build up and that took care of it.

home depot sells a product called krud kutter in the paint department.. it is a soap and is not very harsh, but removes old late paint and grease.. works well for cleaning anything! I clean my wheels and engine as well as my carpet and interior... its like 409 but better.. and you can dilute it a little so it goes farther

Hey bud honestly the best stuff to use is the armor all orange cleaning wipes. I have used that stuff for years and have had the best results. I always get compliments from friends on how clean my interior is for the years disco I have. When I purchased my disco it was in really bad shape and with a few bottles of the orange wipes it came out like new. It will work on just about any surface and really gets in the cracks.

some simple green and water, unless you have an S model the seats should be leather.

thanks for the help everyone. I decided to try simple white vinegar and a scoth-brite pad and it worked . It was a little bit of a pain because the sticky stuff would ball up everywhere when scrubbed and i would use a cloth to knock it off but finally got it all looking good.
