Yup, it sure is...take it out and give it a good cleaning/vacuuming...they draw in a ton of dust and get clogged up. Did it to mine a couple of weeks ago...quieted it down quite a bit, but still not dead quiet...I'll probably end up having to replace it if it gets on my nerves...

Ha ha, these buggers are annoying. Reading this thread, I replaced mine once and it's starting to get noisy again. Cleaning mine didn't really work for me.

Does anyone have a part number? Looks easy enough to replace, I just don't want to pay the dealer's labor.
