Default Heated seat feels more like a Hemorrhoid

My seat used to feel real nice. Now the driver's seat has a real hot spot along the seams, and especially on the left side. Is there anything that can be done about this? Or will I have to merely remember how much I liked the heated seats?

Mine developed the hot spot just before the element went bad. Now I am waiting for cold weather so that the wife will miss the comfort and let me get it fixed.

Replace the heat element and you will be fine.

I would highly suggest cracking a few air biscuits and it will even out...

That isn't the problem. My left cheek is on fire! Where can I get a new heater element?

Try this:

Apparently they ship to the US. I have no idea what their service or shipping is like, but they have TONS of parts and their prices seem to be competitive.

Yeah, not seeing it on Atlantic British, and not really digging sending them from the UK unless I absolutely have to.

I actually order from the UK all the time and I haven't had a problem yet. The larger distributors do it all the time and the price is usually reasonable. Do what you feel comfortable with, but you may end up paying a small fortune to a dealer....
