I do have a multimeter and will be breaking it out this weekend. Connectors are in good shape.

 

Yeah it looked good in the pic, but sometimes they melt inside the connector. Check your voltage & report back.

 

I brought the Blower motor resistor over to my father-in-laws. He is a retired Electrical Engineer. He put it on his bench and got after it (lol). He said it is bad but questioned if the capacitor (circle down in the middle of the cooling fins just in case I have it named wrong) could be replaced? Has anyone ever accomplished that?

 

Don't tell my Father-in-Law but he was wrong. So I put the meter at the connector for the fan (blue) and it reads around 12 volts with the fan on high and progressively lower with the speed of the fan. Then I took two alligator clips connected them to the fan side of the connector. cliped one on the positive of the battery then the other to the negative of the battery and the blower motor works fine.
I reconnected the fan messed with the connector (pushing and pulling it) No Joy
