Something else you may want to consider, is a Discovery 1, its my understanding that they are better off road and that all D1's have a lockable differential (but also no traction control to compensate) that way you can avoid being stuck on the trail in 1 wheel drive with The 3 Amigo's lights on. Just another option to consider since you specifically mentioned off roading.

Not to hijack this but how are you getting stuck with just power to 1 wheel with the 3 amigos on? I wheel mine almost every weekend and the 3 amigos have been on for over a year and I have never had any issues...

This is very much my ignorance showing though, but I was under the assumption that if the 3 Amigos were on then the traction control was non-functional and wouldn't brake the one wheel with no traction, therefore not redistribute the torque (assuming an unlocked center diff). Is this not true? Don't get me wrong, I'm super happy to be wrong here as I have the 3 Amigos visit off and on and am super worried about getting stuck in the snow if they turn on before I can get it fixed.

Ive read that a three amigos fault can, in some conditions, not disable the ABS but rather just make it less effective, but I assumed that the traction control portion would be totally off.
