Default I have bitten the bullet!

We'll guys and gals, I ordered a low mileage used engine for my wife's 03 disco from justin at Lucky8. I am told it has 79kmi so I don't think it will be necessary to replace head gaskets. All this is good news for her since it has been sitting up about a year but bad news for me since it means I'm gonna have to sell our 02 disco. I will post we everything is done and she breaths life again.

That's quite touching my wife drives the Smart Car (it's hers) and I, not that I'm a macho in any way, drive the 4x4's. My wife has the opportunity to drive these but she says they are too big......................suits me though!!

you might want to re-think the head gaskets, do you really want to pull the top-end off a year from now?

you are right, after some thinking i reconsidered and ordered just about every gasket and seal that i could think of and going to change before i put replacement engine in. i replaced head gaskets on it before only to discover i have a linner problem and never want to do head gaskets with engine in truck ever again.
