Default I need another new radiator, don't I?

So I got all the hoses swapped, the old radiator out, new one put in and secured. Was putting the radiator temp sensor and and I must have missed the threads. It was going fine at first, then it just started turning and not tightening, at all. I tried to remove it, same deal. I'm assuming this won't hold coolant when under pressure, but I don't know that for sure. Any suggestions on what I can do, other than getting a new radiator and new temp sensor, as I currently think I need.

Ya that’s a tough one. If you can remove it and somehow coated with a jbweld or something let it cure overnight

New radiator right? I had one come in bad like that, nothing to do but get another one.

Was afraid of that. I might fiddle with it and try to get the sensor out and see if I can jb weld it as red suggests, but I think I'm sol. Wonder if Rock Auto will let me return it ...

I wouldn't do JB Weld. Surefire way to get stranded somewhere. It doesn't cure well to that plastic, and the heat cycling will break them apart pretty handily.

Fiddled with the sensor and radiator for a while and no dice. Bought a new radiator and sensor. Should be here this week to finish it all out. Sigh.
