Default i need help please!!

I have a 1997 Discovery that I inherited from my dad but I would like to sell it. The trouble is I do not know what model it is. I've looked through the manual and the papers that came with it but nowhere does it indicate what model type it is. How can I tell what it is? Are there certain obvious things I can look at to tell me what model it is?

I do have the jump seats in the back, but the sticker on the side just says SE. Of course, its possible that the 7 fell/rubbed off since the drivers side decal is completely missing.

what about the VIN? run a check on it by calling a land rover dealership service department and ask them about it.

If it has the rear inward facing seats and rear AC.
It is a SE-7 it may have a rear step in the back to
help people get in. Sometimes the step is taken off as I
did to mine. If it was from Canada it would have eveything
but not the AC in the rear.

You can run a VIN like you said, that would tell you everything about your vehicel. I service department would not really be able to assist you in finding what make/model your disco is.

The price difference from one model to others is not more
than $ 200 to $ 300 on a older Disco so ask what you want.
My condolences on your father.
