i need help please!!
I have a 1997 Discovery that I inherited from my dad but I would like to sell it. The trouble is I do not know what model it is. I've looked through the manual and the papers that came with it but nowhere does it indicate what model type it is. How can I tell what it is? Are there certain obvious things I can look at to tell me what model it is?
does it have the jump seats in the back?(cargo area) if so its prolly an SE7. mine does not (SE) its a 97 also. not sure of other models that year...it should have a decal on the side of the vehicle
I do have the jump seats in the back, but the sticker on the side just says SE. Of course, its possible that the 7 fell/rubbed off since the drivers side decal is completely missing.
If it has the rear inward facing seats and rear AC.
It is a SE-7 it may have a rear step in the back to
help people get in. Sometimes the step is taken off as I
did to mine. If it was from Canada it would have eveything
but not the AC in the rear.

what about the VIN? run a check on it by calling a land rover dealership service department and ask them about it.
