Default I took the console out to get to the diff, how far can I go?

I tried doing the under the car lubircant to get my CDL to work but I couldnt. I took out the console and I got to the boot where its rivited. I tore sliced off a little and got to a small plate, I took the small plate off, sprayed the LIQUID WRENCH everywhere including the arms on the right and its a little easier getting into LOW range but still NO DIFF LOCK, can I take the second plate off right where you see the 10mm bolts?

and while I took the console off I decided to refinish the wood trim by the window switches that was all cracked and nasty

I dont know about the bolts.
If I remember right when you take that cover off there will be a soleinoid in there, it goes bad and will not let you shift into CDL.
You can remove it and forget it. Or unplug it, I forget which.
Yes, remove all the old dirty water logge dgrease and then use new grease when you put it back together.

I took the shifter out, is that my problem? This seems like whats stuck since I took it out and it still wont move to the left(DIFF LOCK POSITION), should I just hammer that linkage in towawrds the left, hammer it down or what? Also, what should I do where that bowl of my LIQUID WRENCH ? Should I just bolt te shifter back on like that or empty all the out and re-grease??

after some time of working the BRAKE CLEANER and LIQUID WRENCH, it started moving to the left, but still needs more penetrating fluid

You are going to have to keep working it free.
Clean it, lube it, work it, repeat.
As for the type of grease...what ever you got handy.

Just give it time, mine light did not come on at first either, my CDL was not as bad as yours, but it took half a dozen or so times for the light to come on.
Now it comes on each and every time I use it...once a month.
More if I off road or the snow is bad.
