Service Questions
After reading the forum I think I found the solutions to my discos problems. First the rear pass door lock actuator quite last thurdays. Found one on ebay and it should be here Fri. Then Sat I found the heater plate leaking, ordered a gasket and it should be here Fri. Then it started misfiring last night. Had the codes read and it is most likely my plug and plug wires. Here are the codes I was getting P0301, P0306, P0300, P1300. I just ordered new wires and plugs from Cerrones today and am hoping to get started this weekend. I have been reading the DIY for all the jobs and have decided to try the wires without removing the IM, does any one have the pics for this?My questions are should I do a seafoam induction cleaning before or after the plug and wire job. I also thought about doing the wires first then the cleaning and then the plugs in order not to foul the new ones. My truck has 59,500 miles and I always use 90 + oct and also run seafoam through the tank every few months. Also just looking for any other tips on the locks or heater plate. This site is great, so far I have been able to find the answers to all my questions in less than 5 min. I have only had the truck since June and love it. The repairs are just starting to start but thats half the fun of owning it. I did alot of research on Land Rovers before I bought it and this site was one of the reasons I decided to go ahead with it because of the knowledged shared here.
Thanks for any help.

Some people have had problems with the Seafoam induction cleaning fouling plugs. If you do it right and use the correct hose it won't be a problem but why risk it? Do your induction cleaning then the plugs and wires.
By heater plate I am assuming you are referring to the throttle body heater. That's a simple gasket to replace or you can bypass it and a short piece of copper tubing and hose clamps.
Be careful of buying parts off ebay. I bought a seat switch for my D1 that was supposedly in perfect working order and it had more problems than the one it replaced. Roverland Parts (www.roverlandparts.com) sells used, guaranteed lock actuators. Out of curiosity, what did you pay for the actuator on ebay?
