Not sure on the ace bleed for autocom, I will check into it. Unfortunately it will not be until next week. My laptop with the software is being used by someone else at the moment.

Thanks Ralphobell, please do. If the Autocom can bleed brakes, reprogram keys, and read/clear codes for all ecus for DIIs, I will be ordering it now.

The Autocom can bleed the brakes and the modulator. It will also read and clear fault codes for engine, transmission, abs, and probably a few other ecu's. To be honest, I haven't had it hooked up in a few weeks now, but I do remember being able to read the wheel speed and sensor resistance or voltage for each wheel the last time I was messing with it. I do remember that when I went to transmission, I was able to read the values of the XYZ switch, had the ability to override the shift out of park safety mechanism, and reset the adaptive shift points.

It will NOT program keys however.

I just looked through the options list on my laptop, and suspension wasn't one of the selections, so it appears the Autocom cannot do anything with the ACE system.

I paid little bit more to get the iCarsoft CR Plus to use on my 2001 Disco II, My wife's diesel 2011 BMW X5 and my Monster-in-laws Audi A6.
The CR Plus is not a bad gadget since I've used on friend's cars (VW, Mercedes) but later on I'll splurge and get the Lynx diagnostic tool Part DA6434.

Default for a LR3 : iCarsoft or innova3130c?? ;)

I know the info is out there.. but please can I hear your expert opinion?

I need to read and clear CEL on '05 LR3..
also, on my '96 P38, would be nice to reset any adaptable engine params..
( I can read/reset that with a cheapo $15 obd reader.. but not the D3 as I discovered)

Thank you!!

So I'm liking the sound of the Autocom, but one comment had me a little worried. Will something like this:
HOT SALE! TCS CDP Pro Plus Diagnostic Tool fr autocom Car&Truck Auto OBD2 CDP US | eBay
work right out of the box, or do I need to buy additional licenses or software for it to read codes for my '03 Disco?

In all honesty if you are looking for something that reads/clears fault codes and monitors engine performance, there are various Bluetooth or Wifi OBD connection tools and smart phone apps that are cheaper ($35-$90).
But if you want something that does more like aids bleeding brakes, changes for new key settings, etc., you'll have to dig deeper in your pockets for a Bearmach or Lynx that does everything.
