-crower 229
-.0 pistons
-a lot of p&p
- dumping any of the belted hp parasites that i can....fan, water pump....if only i could figure out a retrofit electronic power pas system
-free up exhaust flow

Hmm, didn't know any of that. Like I said, just something I read once before and it's been a while. Sounds like it would be better to stay naturally aspirated. Bummer, superchargers and turbos are fun!

They are a bit noisy, but its not bad. It reminds me of the sound of a small diesel engine actually.

Dusty so are you sticking with the 4.0 internals or are you looking at adding the 4.6 crank and rods? Displacement never hurts power production.

Personally, there is no way I would keep the 4.0 internals I'd I was tearing it down that far.
