so I was working on my sunroof today. and I broke it, I will save the details unless someone wants them. the short version is the two tabs that have the pins that actually move the sunroof, well one broke off, they are pot metal and the drivers side hung up and the passenger kept going. it bound up and snapped. My question is do I need to remove the whole unit and completely replace, or is it best to tear it apart completely clean out the old grease clean it up and replace the broken tab.

I have access to a complete assembly (lr2001silver has one for me). but even if I get a second assembly can it be disassembled and cleaned and lubed up...

everything I do on my rover I'm trying to turn the clock back about 150k miles. so I just want perfectly running sunroof that doesn't need messed with for a while
