X2 on the Krylon for Plastics. I redid my flares with it last month and it came out grrreeeat!

 

Thanks guys! Good to know about the bumpers. It looks like the nose has sustained a little damage, so once I get the all the mechanical things in order (does that really ever happen on a LR?), I will turn my attention to the asthetics. I'll be chasing demons from the previous owners for a while I think.

I also wouldn't have considered a LR without having first found this forum. I read a lot of great stuff before I looked at one and it paid off. At least I knew I was buying a money pit before I bought it LOL. I thought that the love/hate relationship developed over time, not the first day of ownership!

 

welcome and nice truck...give it till the secound day..LOL.. The only hate you feel from going threw your truck and realizing people got paid alot of money who designed all the things you need to fix or better yet change to something that actually really works. Where here to help......

The paint thing isn't much, but it is easy, and after working on all of the mechanical stuff, it is nice to take a break and cheaply make a difference you can see.
