I'm so frustrated. I have aftermarket prop shaft!
So after removing prop shaft and centering ball and all u joints, I realize! I have an after market prop shaft that uses 1310 u joints and a different dust cover for centering ball...
I have the centering ball already installed.. Minus the dust cover. My trucks also going to be out of commission for another couple days because I don't have a CDL..
And to top it all off the dive shaft was mostly fine and all of this wasted time and money isn't going to solve my vibration.

Wouldn't hurt to have a shop check the balance on it. Never know what they may find.
I have a TW DC shaft on the front that needed the centering ball replaced. Not feeling adventuresome that day (have done many in the past), I took it to a shop. Turns out the tube was bent - but not enough to notice when looking at it. Granted, I push mine offroad so it wasn't a total surprise. But, I don't have a set of blocks to roll it on or a lathe to put it on to check for straightness - it's something I would not have caught.

I hear ya, but when I bought it had a vibration. The shop said they didn't think it was the driveshaft because they swapped it out with another dII on the lot. So this one came from that one.. Chances are it wasn't the driveshaft. Not to mention everything looked great.
The key word there is """think""" you can think all you want but unless you go get it checked you dont know for a fact. Your cheapest option would be to get it balanced or you could do it backwards and start with the high dollar parts first, its your money.
