Default Im STUCK in MUD! 97 discovery

hey guys i'm obviously new to the forums... and just recently i found myself stuck in a big hole.... the it's muddy and it seems that there may be a sandbar like patch of dirt under the front and rear axels keeping me from getting towed out.... the area has no trees... and big bolders... i'm kinda stuck on what to do... any suggestions? i may be able to dig it out... but my friend has tried towing me out to no avail.i tried putting rocks under the tires but nothing... also... it seems like the car may be leaning on the drivers side... cause no matter the position of the DIFF LOCK gear stick, only the slightly elevated passenger side wheels turn.

That sucks!!!! How about a crane???? You really got yourself in a bad spot!!!! SOUNDS LIKE SUCTION IS THE PROBLEM. If you can dig the front wheels out on an angle about 8 ft out from the front end, get a buddy with a winch, put 2, 2x8x8ft boards down in front of the front tires. Should do the trick. Its all about finding the right angle!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, first of all, only try to move it while in low lock, not any of the other positins. You will most likely need a heavy rig with a winch or a tow truck.
After getting out, put some decent tires on the truck and learn how to drive it better.
Good luck

A F250, 2500, ect will get you out no problem. Just find someone with a big truck, preferably a diesel. Just attach the strap and tug slowly. Every time I have ever been stuck and no one could get me out I just got a guy with a big truck and it came out very easily.
