I sadly didn’t get keys with remote lock unlock when I got my disco, I think mines got the factory alarm immobiliser still in it.
im getting a decent radio fitted and winch next month so thought I’d better get the truck protected.
the installer has had some varying comments on fitting a new alarm and that I may have to get the Ecm? Reset to turn off the factory alarm imobiliser , and if I don’t then the new alarm will throw faults.
is he correct, is this the excuse I need to buy a nanocom
