Default Induction Cleaning Update and Question about Air Intake Hose

I know its been talked about to death but if you haven't done your seafoam induction cleaning DO IT ASAP! Did it tuesday night with my brothers help and have already noticed a 100% improvement. Idles smoother, little peppier on hard throttle (getting up to highway speed) and after a half tank I'm looking at a 20% fuel milage increase (Was getting 12 now looking at 14+). Its very easy. One note would be to make sure you have a code reader/clearer (or take it to a local shop that clears for free) as you will probably trigger some codes upon restart. I did but after driving around the block and clearing the codes they never returned.

The only downside to the cleaning is that I broke the smaller nipple off the air intake hose when removing it from the throttle body. Ok so I didn't actually break it the previous owner did but when I removed it his superglue gave way. My brother and I re-attached it with some RTV gasket maker so I could get it re-connected and drive home. It looks like it worked well but I still want to replace the part. Rovers North has it listed here http://www.roversnorth.com/store/pc-...covery-ii.aspxfor $75+S/H. I've checked some of the other places like AB and Roverparts.com but they don't list them. Is that the best I can do?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Yep sounds about right. Although I just can't figure out how he broke it. Must have been a little ruff with it.

I'm not sure either but it was a clean break right at the base of the hose connector all the way around. Could have been dropped or something in cold weather or he just underestimated the flexibility of the smaller hose and tried to push it straight up out of the way. Seems to me that the average price for any part on a rover is about $75 bucks. Oh well, knew that going in I guess.

Thanks
