Hey guys,

I currently have my upper intake plenum off for various reasons and while I have it off I am wondering if I should do something with the injectors while I am in there.

1. Do nothing
2. Send injectors out to be tested and rebuilt
3. Buy a set of rebuilt injectors off ebay (160-200$) replacement injectors
4. Buy a O ring and filter kit off ebay (20$) ebay kit
5. Just change the o rings

Does anyone have any experience with this or willing to share some input?

 

If you do a search someone about 6 months ago did a great write up on that exact subject it was very detailed with pictures. If you can find it, maybe that we have mods again they could make it a post it.

Do a search on youtube there are lots of DIY injector cleaning and rebuilding videos. Not really that hard. You can send them out for about $12 a piece to have them tested and rebuilt professionally.

 

I ended up buying the 20$ eBay kit for new o rings and filter baskets. All went back together nicely and working properly.
