It’s not a hot rod by any means but it still scoots ok. I’ve learned that not reving really high and letting the torque pull the truck up when accelerating is the best. Especially when towing heavy loads I just take it easy.

When its wet I can get her to squak a bit on a quick turn and burn. Lol

Thank you Joe and Richard.

Yeah, the 4.6 would be nice, thirty extra horses I believe.

And yes...mashing the gas does nothing, in my opinion, much better to just ease into "trying" to go faster out of the hole.

3.5" lift and 285/75r16 Fallen AT3Ws. I think this is the perfect setup, but I also had a pretty hopped up 4.6 (cam, headers, intake, ported and polished heads and intake manifold). Probably go for the same setup when I get it back on the road with an LS/T56 setup.

Ive been debating on lights and have the same rack I believe.... Do you suggest the old school halogens for the top or move to the LEDs? Those are 5 or 6 inch lights?

Thanks and sweet pic!

Those look like 7" lights to me. Halogen's draw more power, but throw a softer light I like more and the cool factor is tripple.

3"ish lift, OME D1 springs, TF Pro Shocks - I forget what the tire size is 275/65/16?

5 or 6inch look way too small on the SD rack imo.

Here's the comparison on my truck. Bottom are 6" Hella 500s. Top are 8" KC Pro Sport HIDs

i like the Hella 3000’s and 4000’s. The LED bars look goofy on these old trucks.
