Got my plugs and wires and started to try the install with the directions in the write up without pulling the IM, called no joy within 10 minutes, you guys who can do that must have the hands of a surgeon. So I am planning on pulling the IM and ordering the gasket to do when I pull it, and I was wondering if there are other things that I may want to do while that is off?

I have also noticed a very small bead of oil around the Valve cover gasket, not mission critical, but how labor intensive would this be while the IM is off?

 

It takes seconds to tighten the valve cover bolts.
Clean your throttle body and IACV while you have it off, and replace your throttle body heater if it has not been done. Check the throttle body heater hoses, they get brittle and break, replace if necessary.
