HOT DANG! I just installed mine! VERY easy! I did the oil sandwich adapter and gauge from glow shift ... I took some pics if anyone is interested of my install... what a RELEIF! When buying a typical 03 landrover that is not running like a new engine... then reading about oil pressure its always in back of mind I need have gauge at all times! anyway I took could days off work ( not for this project but for many things needed to complete this being one ) I got in and made some decisions... this really is an easy job! just make sure you have everything ready tools and everything or you catch yourself needing to DRIVe someplace to get 1 thing now engine is hot... lol I mounted mine down on drivers side of console under the ash tray ( coin tray) where I mounted my ultra gauge !
at idle and semi warm... 20 psi and at driving around 50 psi

BTW.. can the Orange wire be put on light dimmer fuse and effect the brightness? not that its a big issue.. at this point Im not using the orange wire...

That's great. Thanks. However, I'm thinking I usually rest my right leg about there. I'm on the road for a couple more weeks, but I'll see if that wold work for me when I finally get back home. I've been trying to find a good spot for my oil pres. indicator...

well I mounted it very far from knee... there is no way I can touch that area... im 5'9" tall so average height and I have plenty of room and even trying I cant hit it.. .so check it out, it might work ... Oh and its SO NICE to have... also that center console is fairly cheap and easy to find if you mess up drilling holes as I did ( but no mess-up) but the dash is not o easy to repair or if heat from summer opens up anything drilled into it... IMHO ... lol

Any idea on how to modify a "T" attachment for the pressure gauge? I have an oil cooler in my '01.

Why not use this? It's what I used and many others here who did this mod...

Oil Filter Sender Adapter - 3/4 unf-16

So the oil cooler line is just pushed back? No cutting or modifying?

Well I guess I was thinking you were adding a custom oil cooler but you have a factory one? I don't have one on my 03 so not sure but if it was an aftermarket add on cooler then that sandwich adaptr has 3 plugs for sensors and the cooler extension ( aftermarket ) could connect to oil filter I'd guess but not so sure after that...

Ya I have the factory oil cooler, which has a straight line with some play in it coming out of the port that this thread uses, so my thought is if I put this 3 port apparatus inline with the oil cooler system how much modification will I have to do.

Otherwise I'm going to go ahead and purchase this little guy and get some pictures going for anyone else with a similar problem.
