Default intermittent wiper mode clicking sound

I'm pretty sure my intermittent wiper has never made a clicking sound with each movement of the arms- just like the sound of the blinker- but today I noticed it and thought it strange. No clicking mode happens in the other two constant-on settings. What gives? Electrical interference? I am having that weird turn signal problem where it takes forever to turn on when "cold" or not used in awhile, then they work perfect after the initial "warm-up". Not sure if its interrelated but thought to mention.

I have the exact same issue in regards to the cold and the sound. Living in AZ we have only had 3 nights cool enough to cause it, but everything has performed flawlessly once warm.

it's the relay. If you listen carefully you'll here it just once when you turn the wipers on. In intermittent mode, it clicks every time that wipers move.

Question: This is off topic, but could a relay (if there is one) for the drivers window be bad? I changed the motor and nothing. I press the button for down and nothing happens.

Help is much appreciated

Ok- so is this normal or a sign of a failing relay, because I want to say the clicking noise is new or at the least has become louder? And today wasn't particularly cold here in so Cal, maybe 50-60 degrees- tho it is a little cooler than usual as a new storm front moves in.

I'd probably check the switch first. Then I'd download the rave manual and start checking other things. The driver's window has an auto down function, which means that it goes through some sort of control unit to tell it to stop.

Depends on what it sounds like, but yeah it's probably normal. Do you usually have the stereo on?

I always assumed this is normal, mine clicks when in intermittent mode every wipe and always has...and I live in the Seattle area so I use my wipers A LOT and have learned to block it out
