Default Issues reinstalling new water pump 2002 Disco 2

Ok, so I'm replacing my water pump. I have the new one installed, but having issues putting the hoses on. (I replaced the lower radiator hose assembly). I'm not sure how I did it, but I can't get the new hose onto the water pump. I think I routed the other hoses wrong so now I don't have much play now. Is there a trick or order I need to install the hoses? Any help would be appreciated!!

Will it not fit over the pump or do you not have enough hose length? It sounds like you don't have enough length from your description. Can you see where you're getting stuck?

Don't forget to actually pour coolant onto the tubes and pump so you don't get an air bubble in the water pump and overheat.

Have you checked the RAVE coolant flow diagram?

I can't get the small hose that runs to the heater hoses past the hard line that runs next to it. If I place it on the right side of it, I can't pull the hose back enough to put it on the water pump. If I place the small hose on the left, it hit against the hard line and I can't get the hose to reach the water pump.

It's an assembly from URO, so I assume it's the correct length as it's similar in length to the one I'm replacing. The pictures of the one from AB is actually shorter than the one from URO.

Oh man, is there an order to putting on the lower hose kit? I'm now having the same issue with the water pump hose. i put a new one on a few weeks ago and it was a pain getting it on. Sadly that one had a crack. Lucky me! Got the new lower hose kit today, put in all the hoses, tried to put on the water pump hose last..for like two hours. What am I doing wrong? I'm going to take everything off and start over tomorrow. Thinking I'll have to take off the top hose to give me more room? Thanks for any tips!!
