Just bought a 03 Discovery, where is the jack? I have no Owners Manual.

The factory location is in the engine bay under the battery cover, right beside the battery. Some trucks have had them removed by now.

Yeah. You just don't expect to be looking in the engine compartment.
On the plus side you can jam a set of jumper cables in the same spot. I find that handy.

most of the jack don't work because of all the heat under the hood, you can look for a p-38 jack they are stored in the back
