Default That jeep bumper is the ****.

Cant beat it for 270 bucks. I could barely even buy the material to make one that cheap.

Doesn't look too bad.
Except for the fact it's welded to the chassis.

Yeah I would suggest fabbing brackets, but in my case on my $300 truck, welding it to the frame was fine.

Holy lord that's ghetto as hell. That may be the least safe mounting I've ever seen. Hopefully the material is thin enough that it'll just bend on the side rather than ripping off completely.

A guy in my shop said the same thing. So I lifted the truck off the ground by the front bumper.

That one hell of a killer, forget crumple zones or the like and god help anything or one who gets hit by it.

Errr, I thought there was to be a 'crumple zone' both front and rear. I wouldn't want to get rear ended by that bumper.

OH HELL NO... the bumper sits right at door window level on a smallish car. If I rear ended someone, the trunk would become the crumple zone.

Are they "official" NHL pucks or AHL spec?

That bumper arrangement is something out of the Mad Max movie

And if you 'T' bone them? The passenger/driver is the crumple zone, right???? And then there are those cars, like the Mini which has no trunk/engine bay to talk of!!!!!

Land Rover put in the crash cans for a reason, even if it is minimal, but at least 2 crumple zones is better than one and a 2 ton battering ram.
