My window regulator finally went out. Until I have time to fix it does anyone have a good trick to keep the window closed? Right now it is duct taped. Would rather people walking by on the street not see that and think easy entry.

 

You can wedge it from the inside using a couple of small leveling shims from the cabinet section of a hardware store, inserted down between the window and the inner felt seal. Or, if you want something a little less ghetto looking, you can pop the door card and cut a piece of 1X2 to length to support the bottom edge of the window against the bottom (or "floor") of the door.
