Thumbs up Joining the Land Rover Gang!

Hi all, my name is Z! I just picked up my new Land Rover Discovery today. Its a 2003 HSE with dual dvd players, 86,000 miles, Zambezi silver with black leather interior. I don't know why I did not get one of these sooner, but I am loving it!

Welcome!

-Make sure you get your front drive shaft rebuilt if it hasn't been already (do a search)
-Make sure you run only PREMUIM gas
-Find out what maintenance has been done and bring it up to speed, (check out Disco Mike's 60 mile service list)

Welcome Z,

Congrats on joining the "club!" From what I've read about the 2003 Series II's, you'll want to check your serial number and determine if you may have an oil pump issue to contend with.

Again, welcome.

Welcome to the forums. There is a great wealth of information here for you. Did you check your 2003 VIN for the oil pump failures? If not, search the archives for the VIN range so you can stay on top of the issue.

Congrats and have fun watching two dvds at once. (I reccomend "trainspotting" and "Ice Age" at the same time)
