basic hand tools, a fan wrench, and an afternoon. the worst part is burping the coolant system, but that's easy as well.

+1, with the exception that I think the worst part is the coolant all over the shop floor. The squeeze clamps can get kind of pissy too. Make sure not to overdo it with the shroud screws in the top of the radiator. Assuming you're not going inline at the same time, which you should definitely consider, I also like to fill the system without the top two hoses connected to the thermostat so there's no backpressure in the radiator as it fills. Once coolant starts gurgling out of the thermo you can be sure there's no air in the radiator and I find this makes it easier to bleed.

be careful not to catch the plastic nipple on the upper right hand side of the new radiator when installing it.

that little bastard can break off if you look at it wrong.

RAVE also say to remove the oil cooler line located around the bottom part of the radiator. No need to do this to save time and headaches, especially with oil leaking all over the place.

I tried to remove the oil cooler line from the joints. Decided against it. I simply took off all the radiator mounting bolts and disconnected the radiator hoses. Then simply pulled the radiator out from above, and carefully moved the oil cooler line out of the way (without having to disconnect the latter).
