I have just done 3K+ miles in the D2 in 10 days without any incidents apart from some vibes which after the 14 years on the existing CV's I reckon they are toast. The wheel bearings are good but the damned vibes at 70mph are so annoying. Maybe need some new tires and wheel balancing first though.

Any other ideas are welcome.

(hit a fricking motorway cone a truck had dislodged on the A10 autoroute which damaged the rear fender flare, just another job to do but it's not the vibes cause)

 

Replacing both tie rods (Pittman arm, track bar? I think Those are the names) fixed my vibes. Might check those.

That's a lot of miles! Glad to hear it was largely uneventful.
