Default ...keep up with the Land Rovers.

I was doing some research on a new set of tires for "da Rover" on the Tire Rack site and came across this quote from a Jeep driver (see below)...of course he did write "keep up"; not surpass! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Anyone running these tires?

Thanks (I will be replacing the original tires on a stock 2001 SE w/48K)

October 09, 2008 Great tire for the price. These are awesome off road, my Jeep was able to keep up with the Land Rovers. Great dry road traction. Yeah, they make some noise but the tread is aggressive. I hit 80mph and dont have any vibration or pull. I dont spin the tires anymore in the rain. Why spend the money on BFG's when these are just as good? [/align]

Pretty decent tire/price.
What sort of driving will you be doing.
You might also look at Big O's AT.

Hey Mike...80% on-road, 20% off-road (hunting trails & snow travel to the lifts).

BTW Mike, I spoke with you by phone a few weeks ago about the truck not starting...as you thought, it was the original Interstate battery; replaced it and started just fine. The original battery did last 8 years...I guess it was about time to die.

I have General Grabber AT2's and absolutely love them. For the $$ I don't think they can be beat. It is my understanding that they have the same (similar?) tread pattern as the BFG AT KO's. But the BFG's are almost 2x the price....

Get them and you will be happy with them....

http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.p...&nichtweiter=1

im finding them a LOT more aggressive a tire than they look to be.

im off road at least 3 or 4 times a week and i get to play in a lot of different type of terrain (a military post is a GREAT place to have as a playground) and these tires have yet to disappoint me. the only negative is that they frequently pick up little rocks that annoyingly come off when you get back to the highway.
