MC04DII, I took mine to a local locksmith here in Homewood and he screwed it up. But I am pretty positive Alabama Lock and Key on Greensprings could cut it. I haven't ordered another one yet, but plan to soon.

I had the same issue with mine. I took a thin piece of foam and put between the battery and the back case half and cured that problem.

I have had the "pleasure" of getting 2 Disco-2 keys cut in the past month. Lowes, Home Depot, WalMart and Pep Boys all use the same modular key cutting machine. They do not work with our keys - even though there is one that is close.
I have had to go to an ACE hardware store and get the key-guru to get it to almost work. The blank that works is ilco X239 RV4. The guy will complain that the key jumps around. If he is good, it will almost work.
You then have to go home and get out your metal files and file the pointy tip down a bit and touch up the rest of the key. I have done it twice now - both keys work now... Kiind of annoying but I learned something about key making.

I would like to help on suggestions of where to get the key cut, but I'm about to leave right now and go get it done at a Lock&Key place that is only located local to me.
I would suggest finding someone local to you as well who specializes in lock and key sort of things. I'd be huge pain in the *** for someone to screw it up and then you have to wait for another keyfob to arrive from China again. :I
