O.K. ...I'm trying to replace the battery in my remote key and I have no manual. I noticed behind the key ring there is a slot which I managed to pry open part way but I dont want to force it! There is also a tab right above the metal key part that will not budge......can anyone help??? Thanks!

 

If you have the black two button key that I ahve, your in luck because I just did this last night.

Take a flat head screwdriver and pry open the part that goes around the actual key ring. That will pop it open a little bit, then, slowly slide the screwdriver around the edge of the remote until it pops.

If it doesn't pop open on it's own, once you get it almost there you can just use your hands and gently pull it open sideways. Then, it will come apart into two pieces. Swith out the battery and just press then together until they click.
