Proper way to replace battery in Key Remote??!!

Default Proper way to replace battery in Key Remote??!!

Just some advice in changing the battery in my key remote. I keep on having to get closer and closer to open and/or lock the car. Just want to know "proper" procedure, if this is a DYI job, the works. Thanks for the help.

you can just pop it open and put in a new battery

Just take them both out and replace them, their is no trick to it.

i have a tr3 2006 and the remote is dead is it true, it recharges when it is in the ignition

no idea about the tr3 but bmw has been doing that with their keys for 15 years
