Default 99 LR DISCO II - Key won't open door

Hi. I was testing how the key functions work and I think I accidentally put the car in superlock mode. When I put the key in the door lock it freely goes left and right like there's no tension. Also when I use the key fob to lock the doors all the lights flash 3 times exactly. Can someone please help me out.

this is awesome. I took one of your guys advice and opened up my key fob. I unlock function micro button switch was missing so I took a paper clip and made contact and I was able to open my door. Yes! But I still have the door lock still behaving loosely. I'll be right back...gonna test some things out. TY very much for the contact trick

Replace the lock machnism box with a new box.
This has the rods going into it and has plastic covers on it.

All 5 of these will eventually fail.
