Default Land Rover 1 Hyundai 0

Got rear ended today. I just lost a tailight. The hyundai not so lucky

Funny thing.. it seems the Disco's are allways getting rear ended...

Either they are real slow..

Or they have great brakes..

Well Jesus must have been with them because their airbag did not go off.

It is f'd up her airbags did not deploy, luckily she was ok. This is actually the 2nd time this has happened to me. The first time the dirtbag lady hauled out of there. (No insurance, warrants etc) She had a chevy cavalier and it looked the same. For those who dont have a trailer hitch-get one. It saved me twice

Airbag sensors are more in the bumper than under the roof. They had no reason to deploy. She went under the rover not into it. Same thing happened to me years ago in my Honda Civic after I was rear ended and forced under a truck in front of me. Airbags did not deploy.

I have huge trailer hitches on both my trucks. I keep a pintle/ball combo on the back of the rover as a solid recovery point and as added protection from being rear ended.

That looks almost identical to the damage when the wife backed into the neighbors car($550). Glad you're okay!
