Default Land Rover Discovery 2 Overhead DVD wireless headphone HELP!!!!!!!!s

I'm hoping y'all can give me some help with the overhead DVD system.

I know, I know, it is old and antiquated. My daughter just had her first child and the Disco II I bought for her has one.

My question is that I see that it can have "optional" RF headphones but the instructions do not list what model they are. Does ANYone have any insight into this, OR has anyone retrofit the bluetooth ones to it?

If so can I get the part #'s and where to go get it from.

Thanks,'
Gentlemen

The one option I’ve never had in a Disco is this, so if for no other reason, I’m jealous. I was just watching one of the old owners handbook or whatever videos and they had a section on the rear entertainment system- I’m pretty positive there was no reference to wireless headphones.

I have done a BT adapter so I can use my phone with my home stereo, so I’m sure it’s possible, but you’d need to run juice and the like.

I've only seen one in person. The guy is on the forum so hopefully he sees this and posts how it works! I believe he had a connector/adapter to play music from his phone. Can't speak on it personally.

Neither the RAVE nor the User Manual I have mention wireless headphones, even though they go into depth about the DVD system. I did have a truck with the rear headphone system but there was nothing wireless about it.

I have (had) the DVD player in my '04 SE7. I still have the LR original wired headphones, no option for wireless. Its a cheesy system because from what I recall, if playing a DVD, the entire sound system plays the DVD - its not isolated to just the rear outputs. I removed mine when I re-did my headliner.

Well that solved that for me. As I mentioned, I think that is about the only feature (other than headlight adjusters) I’ve never had on a D2, but it sure sounds like more of a PITA this day in age than anything. Thank you for this as it was kind of a holy grail feature I wanted to look for at some point- even if I never really used it.
