Default Late shift

2003 Discovery II A guy replaced the coils and gaskets for the valve covers.

Now my temp. gauge does not work and the shift is at 2000+ and worse in

sport mode. Did he not reconnect whatever he should have?

Thanks for any help. Dave

did you try taking it back up there? if the vehicle was doing that when you left the service garage, your best bet was to immediately turn around, go back up there and let them figure it out because no way in the world that should be happening from those 2 repairs. Start looking for something that they forgot to plug/hook/or connect back-up. Lord knows you have to remove 400 pieces to tackle those 2 chores, something could have been missed when they were putting it back together. Whew, good luck on that...
