Default Leaf blower up the tailpipe

Thinking about blowing air up the tailpipe to find my exhaust leak. Anyone see any problem or issue I'm not thinking of?

Busy weekend coming up. Doing
front shaft
Complete new brakes and rotors
Bleed brakes
Remove headliner
Fix sunroof leaks

Nope, that works good.
Soapy water at every joint or gasket lets you see any leaks too. As opposed to just feeling for air blowing.

you can use a smoldering stick or smoking wood pellets with a piece of screen or filter material in front of them; will allow smoke to seep through the leak areas.

I have done it and it worked well. I just set the backpack blower on the ground and stuffed the end up the tailpipe. I just let it idle. dish-washing soap in a spray bottle - spray around the suspected leak locations and it start blowing bubbles

I used my shop vac, with the hose on the vacuum exhaust port. Worked great. The hose fit perfectly in the tail pipe and I didn't have to hold a blower in place (notwithstanding MtnCrk's backpack blower idea). I guess it depends on whether or not you have a shop vac and what kind of blower you have.

Shop vac here, worked great - I could hear/feel the leak.
