Leaking behind glove box in the rain
Every now and then I would notice a couple drops of water leaking from just behind the glove box. I was relieved that it was water and not coolant. I cleared the A/C drain plugs under the car but found that they weren't really clogged. Finally, I took it through the carwash and lo & behold it starts dripping. Not a lot at all, maybe just a 1/4 cup total. So I'm assuming there is some tiny crack somewhere. Before I go on some mad goose chase, is this a known occurrence? Are there specific trouble areas I should be looking at? Hopefully I can just seal it up with some discreet black silicone...
There is also a TSB an known leak from the A/C air intake which is beneath the wiper cowl. Your wiper tray will fill with water and spill through there. Check the cowl drains and clear them out, you may need to remove the windshield cowl to reseal the A/C intake if that doesn't do it
