Question Leaking Power Steering Hose Replacement

Hello Everyone,

I have the new hose. I am not sure about installation. It is the high pressre hose from the steering gear to the pump. Do I need to do anything like drain the Resevoir or something of that nature. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Bill

Default

Low pressure from the reservior to the pump.
High pressure from the pump to the steering gear.
Low pressure from the steering gear back to the reservior.

Any way you do it it's going to be messy. I'll be doing this myself in a couple weeks if a new clamp doesn't stop my leak.
