Default LED Interior bulb help and fog light adjust question

I know Ive seen threads on this subject a couple times but advanced search for "LED" and "LED Lights" comes up with nothing. So who's used LED bulbs for the interior lighting, and where did you get them? I'm looking for bright LED bulbs that simply plug in and done. No fancy crap, no tearing the headliner apart and no re-wireing. Also Id like to see about converting the fog light bulbs to LED and maybe see if the entire lenses can be adjust a little bit to the sides so they actually light up the side of the road more. Hell I might even try putting LED bulbs in the rear bumper.

Any links would be appreciated.

My suggestion is to use the attached bulb chart which I downloaded off the Sylvania website.

One of the most popular automotive LED bulb sources is Autolumination.com

You use the Sylvania bulb chart to order the LED bulbs on the Autolumination.com website.

Hi, I use LED interior festoon lights in all my vehicles to replace the tungsten type. They are just as effective and come in UV blue, warm white and another white shade. I believe they are 36mm long but you would need to check that size. I generally buy them from Hing Kong or China in 10's as they are the most up do date LED technology and very cheap. If you plug in "LED 36mm festoon bulbs (or lamps)" into Eblag search there are plenty of sellers and some in the US. I would recommend them. I also use stop/tail light LED lamps as they far outlast the tungsten lamps and are less prone to the effects of vibration and shocks. With stop/tail light lamps make sure you get those with a large differential between the light functions otherwise you'll get 'tail ended' by some nut who says I didn't see your brake lights come on. I don't use them in the motorcycle for that very reason.

I installed the LED interior festoon lights in both of our cars. In both cars, they are failing. Blinking at a rate that makes you feel like you are having a seizure, or completely burned out. I will be changing back to normal bulbs soon. I thought I'd like them, and thought there would be less drain on the electrical system. I didn't get either of those affects.

For what it's worth, I bought mine on eBay. 10 bulbs for around $5.

The price sounds about right - I think you must have bought those dodgy Chinese lamps. Ironically, mine are still great after a year and they were cheapo off of Ebay.

I've had pretty good success with cheap Chinese items in the past, but these are not working out. I know there are many different manufacturers, and I evidentially got the wrong one. But again, I believe I will go back to stock. The original light seems a little easier on my eyes too, even when the LED's were working right.

everything "off in france" posted. 36mm. I purchased 16SMD bright white. Looks real nice and gives off plenty of light. I also replaced the rear license plate light with the same bulb and color. Ebay from China or Hong Kong. Might take two weeks to get state side, but worth the wait and certainly very cheap. All SMDs worked fine upon arrival...no dead diodes in any of the bulbs.
