I called the numbers from their website, both the Michigan number and the number from their headquarters in Ontario, California.
I also called some friends who work for Ann Arbor, MI PD, where Boshart is located in Michigan, and they know this company, and the type of work they are contracted to do.
So I'm not worried. Plus, if they take my truck, it's insured, and I can always find another one. Either that or I'll just hunt them down and kill them...

 

I figured, if it was legit, that that would be why Land Rover would be involved.

 

Ok, so I actually let them borrow my LR4 for the emissions test. They paid me $850. The test took two weeks (not one as they said initially) and my check engine light has been going off ever since. The first service visit the dealer said the gas cap was loose. The light went on again two days later so that was not it. The second visit they replace some type of pump in the emissions system. Now a few days later the light is on again. The car runs fine, but something was messed up in this emissions test and I am not too happy.

 

What codes are you getting? Did they give you a description of what they did to the truck?

 

Maybe I will try to submit my vehicle to them too. Thanks..
