Lift it up!
I will put in as a third part also urging you to do the 60K. If you haven't hit the 60K mark yet, it is a 98 with conventional oil in everything. It is done. Do the 60K service in its entirety BEFORE you spend $$ on a lift and more accessories. It isn't hard to do, and you will save yourself a ton in the long run.
Okay, So it sounds like this 60K is very recommended, I just have one question, Out of the list of thing's i need to pick it before i do it, What needs to be ordered online? Just the Wires right? and where can i buy those. . .And will the 8mm fit a 98 Disco I?
I went with the OME HD shocks and springs for a couple of reasons. I sometimes tow a trailer, I upgraded my front bumper to an ARB and added a Warn winch, I put on heavy duty sill protectors and am adding a new High Country rear bumper. All of these things add weight to the vehicle. I also tend to not worry about slowing down much for speed bumps in my neighborhood so the HD shocks take the bumps well without causing my fillings to fall out!
