I don't see how, do you think it is slower now?
I just drove my truck to the store and back, I haven't paid any attention to that initial fan noise because it has stopped now. I guess the clutch has an adjustment period to it.The initial loudness, at least with that AB clutch, is normal and should go away. If it doesn't after a few days of operation, call them.

When first starting the oil is in the bottom of the clutch once
it starts turning it moves to the outside of the clutch this isnow
set to work right.
With the fan slowing down more at idleis normal when the truck is not hot. So it will not over cool.
The last fan was stuck half way would spin faster atidle and most likely not much faster at speed nothing you see in the temp due to moving air from going faster on the road.
Ihad the same thought the first time I changed mine to much noise,
but after 5 mins driving it was normal.
