Looking for a bit bigger than 255/65/16
Yeah, I do easy off-roading, and wanted the look as much as anything.
265s look perfect with a 2" lift. They're not as tall as the 235/85s but they look correct. I ran them for a while in Km2s before going to the 255/85s, but I still run 265/75 studded snows during the winter. Definitely looks pretty goofy with the 3.5" lift.
I'm running 235/85 Kenda Klevers and they do pretty well on dirt, rocks, and sand. Hasn't rained in California this winter so no mud to test yet. I was afraid a thinner tire would hurt my traction and off road ability but they are actually a lot easier to navigate into the proper line on obstacles and trails and seem to grip just as hard as my tires on my other rig which are 3.5" wider.
