Talking Looking for guidance!

Hello Wiseones,
I'm looking for some guidance or opinions.
First a little background, I'm on my 4th D2. My first was an 04 that was perfect but I needed a tow rig a few years ago. I've been chasing others ever since, I bought 2 03's over the past 4 yrs and both suffered the slipped sleeve disease. Sold those off to a friend that drives them till they implode. One he has put 20k on it.
Soo.. I found an 02 with 90k that was cherry that had usual small fixes. Last week and 4k miles later, I started smelling burnt oil and antifreeze. Sure enough both head gaskets blew out the back. After unsuccessfully being unable to bust the head bolts loose or get the expensive air pipes off, I decided to yank it all out. I also have a cdl TC to put in. A rebuild is in the works, only due to the fact I spent to much $$$ on a RTM lift, tires, drives shafts, bilstein, etc..... For those who may ask about mechanical experience, I have ground up restored many vehicles over the years and have extensive experience.

With all that said here are my questions:

1) Is there a performance cam available, where can I get one, and are they worth it?
2) Can I reuse the timing chain? I have read that people drive them past 200k without replacement.
3) Is the Arp head studs worth the $200+?
4) What is the average mileage that the trans last.
5) Can I disconnect the trans leaving the TQ converter on the fly wheel?
6) Is there complete engines kits available? (It's frustrating to piece meal all the rebuild parts )
7) Should I replace the ignition coils?
8) Are there polyurethane motor mounts avail?

Thanks for your input in advanced. If it wasn't for this forum, I would have to check into a Rehab center to treat my self inflicted addiction!

1 - Crowler makes a few diferent cams. They need to br modified because of the cam retaining plate. D&D sells the cam modified.
2 - since you have the motor apart, replace the chain. Its not that expensive.
3 - Some say yes, some say no. When I have to do my heads I am leaning toward intalling them.

The tuning kit available for the V8 Rover engine is endless. From tuning the bare engine to supercharging. It depends on how much you want to spend and how far to go. If you get into serious tuning the bottom end and rods will need to be upgraded also. Plus you need to increase the oil pump efficiency and maybe cooling system to cope.
