Looking to purchase an 04!!!
For me the biggest pita are the a/c drain plugs. Even if I'm not out wheelin these things get clogged too easily (seems like a weekly occurrence), which leads to wet carpet on the front passenger side floorboards. Keep an eye on the head gaskets for leaks, and run through the 60K service, most of which you can do in your garage with a few common hand tools.
Just wanted to give an update. Delivery should take place tomorrow. Though I won't believe it till it's in the driveway.Theinside was asawsome as it is on the outside! No, I take that back, the inside is heaven. Everything I've been looking for is actually in one vehicle. I just hope it lives up to my expectations! Thank you all for the helpful info.
Just something to keep in mind: The 60K service is a big one, and it is coming up for this truck. Do a search for the service on here. DiscoMike has written up a good list of things to do so you don't have to take it to the dealer.
Just wanted to let everybody know I am now the proud owner of a 04 Land Rover(I love it). And as for the 60K service I did find Disco Mikes list (Thank You) and will have my husband start chipping away at the list.
Thank you everybody for your input, it was a big help!
