Default Looking for a radiator

I am looking for a good replacement radiator. I have been looking at AB and Rock Auto. I know better than to go cheapest route, but was interested in what you all have in mind for replacements. Mine is leaking from tank seam after 150k miles. Thanks

Nissens Radiators have never let me down.
IMHO AVOID Eurospare or any of the ebay cheap-o aluminum rads = TOTAL GARBAGE!

Try L8 for a NISSENS they have a decent price on them >>> https://www.ebay.com/itm/LAND-ROVER-....c100005.m1851

A plastic tank radiator = a plastic tank radiator. The #1 thing is how the darn thing is boxed up and how it arrives at your door. I've used 55.00 wonders that looked identical to the OEM unit I removed, and I've used Nissens replacements. Most important thing is to take the two upper screws that screw into the each tank and immediately cut off 1/8 of an inch off of them! On 80% of all the plastic tank D2 radiators I've replaced this was the most common spot for leaking. The other common place for issues = the nipple that goes to the reservoir breaking off or cracking.

Found Nissens at RockAuto: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...63496&jsn=2931
Any different than the L8 Nissens version, am I missing something?

Also, in the last 20k miles I have replaced all the coolant lines and installed a soft spring T-stat. Anything else I should be considering with this fun project?

I'd expect that the RockAuto and Lucky8 are the same part but Lucky8 doesn't give the Nissens part number. You could always email them and ask how it differs from the RockAuto version thats $100 cheaper - it might just be an economy of scale situation.

If you're doing a cooling system overhaul might as well check the condition of your fan and fan clutch. You can check the condition while they're installed. If you end up pulling them off, remove the serp belt and check the water pump shaft for any play. Fan/clutch isn't a tough job with the right tools (though your fan nut might be welded on with rust).
